Tune in to my Politics & Prose event on Saturday, 2p ET
Hi all,
As you may have noticed, the timing of my book release has been, um, challenging.
All of the public launch-related events for A Question of Power: Electricity and the Wealth of Nations have been cancelled.
But here's some good news: Thanks to the nimble folks at Politics & Prose, y'all can tune in to my virtual book event this Saturday, March 21, at 2p ET. I will be in my office here in Austin talking about A Question of Power on Crowdcast. Here's a link to the P&P event.
Let's face it: there's no March Madness and there's no toilet paper at the supermarket. So you might as well tune in and hear about why electricity is the key issue for womens' rights, inequality, and climate change and why we're going to need a lot more electricity in the years ahead. Even better, you can do so and support a great local bookstore.
You can use the link to buy a copy of A Question of Power directly from Politics & Prose. In fact, you can order a signed copy of the book from P&P and they will send it to you with free shipping.
Reading books is a good thing to do during this time of social distancing. So by all means, read A Question of Power.
Second, encourage your friends and neighbors to get a copy. Remember: you don't have to read it, you just have to BUY it. If you want it right away, you can download the Kindle version or listen to the audio book.
Third, and this would be very helpful: write a review of the book on Amazon or BN.com.
Okay, enough for now. Thanks for your support.
All the best,
RB
